Bonneville Run
September 2nd -September 7th, 2007 (6 days, 5 nights)
$2,895*/Rider, $985/Passenger
Have you ever wanted to take your bike to the world famous Bonneville Salt Flats and see what it will do? Or maybe you just want to encrust your tires with the same salt that land speed champions past and present once tread. Now you can. This round trip ride starts in Las Vegas and heads north to West Wendover, NV. Once there you’ll attend the BUB Motorcycle Speed Trials at the Bonneville Salt Flats. Not only will you have the chance to witness record setting motorcycle speed runs, you’ll be a participant. You’ll choose between the Run Watcha Brung category, or if you and your bike are up to it, going for an official land speed record. Along the way we’ll ride some of the most scenic and historic back roads Nevada has to offer.
Sunday, day one, we’ll meet at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The group will get to know each other and be briefed over breakfast on the ride and itinerary. Then we’ll head out to Caliente, NV for a catered lunch at the historic ghost town of Elgin, NV. From there we’ll continue on to Ely, NV where we’ll stay the night at the historic Hotel Nevada and Gambling Hall. After breakfast on Monday we’ll make the short run north to West Wendover, NV to check into the Wendover Nugget. Once checked in, we’ll ride roughly 10 miles into Utah to register for the BUB Motorcycle Speed Trials event at the Salt Flats. We’ll spend the entire next day, at the Salt Flats. You can make your timed runs and just enjoy the motorsports atmosphere that is the BUB Motorcycle Speed Trials. We’ll have a tent set up and lunch will be served. The rest of the week you’ll get to choose from scheduled rides, hanging out at the Speed Trials or making more timed runs. But if you spend all week at the Salt Flats, you’ll miss out on riding one of the premier road courses in North America. Wednesday will feature a 90 minute trip to Tooele, Utah for an open track day at Miller Motorsports Park. There’s a mandatory class in the morning and then you’re free to enjoy three twenty minute track sessions in the afternoon. Thursday has a long scenic loop planned. The route takes us from West Wendover to Wells, NV and back. The day will be capped off with the BUB Speed Trials Awards Banquet and Ceremony Thursday evening. Friday will be getaway day. We’ll take a straight shot south, stopping at midday for lunch and arriving back at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in the afternoon where we’ll say our goodbyes.
*Price includes fees for Run Watcha Brung and track day. Speed record attempts add an additional $350 for an FIM attempt and $250 for an AMA attempt.
Desert Highways

$1485/Rider, $595/Passenger
There’s no better time to enjoy the wide open spaces of the southwestern desert than the fall. So we’ve schedule this tour to take advantage of the sunny days and comfortable temperatures found in these normally forbidding areas. This three day trip includes rides through Death Valley and Kingman, AZ. Because two full days of riding some of the most scenic desert back roads in the US just aren’t enough, we’ll throw in a track day at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway to complete the experience.
You’ll arrive on Friday morning at the historic Bonnie Springs Ranch, just 30 minutes outside of Vegas. This will be our base camp for three epic days of riding. If you’re looking for the bright lights and glamour of The Strip, forget it. This place is Old School, Old West style. You’ll be staying at the Bonnie Springs Motel, nestled in the breathtaking scenery of Red Rock Canyon. This old western style motel is an excellent jumping off point for our rides. After breakfast and orientation Friday morning, we’ll head, north hrough Pahrump to Beatty, NV. From there we’ll head west into California and Death Valley National Park. Once in the park you’ll enjoy a winding, scenic route through this national treasure. We’ll pass through Furnace Creek on our way to Death Valley Junction and Shoshone. From Shoshone we andse the loop and head east back into Nevada, crossing the border near Pahrump, just a short distance from Bonnie Springs. Saturday we’ll visit Arizona and historic Route 66. In the morning we’ll head straight south to Laughlin, NV. From there we’ll briefly pass into California through Needles and on to Historic Route 66. We’ll pass through Oatman on our way to Kingman, AZ. Once at Kingman we’ll complete our loop back to Laughlin and finish the ride by heading north to Las Vegas. The weekend is wrapped up Sunday at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, where you’ll ride an open track day. Sadly, at that point the weekend will have to come to an end. After the track day it’ll be time to say farewell.
